Monster Curry
Kilton's meandering mystery shop contains many monstrous marvels, but primary among them - to a culinary artist, anyway - is the Monster Extract. Add this to any in-game recipe to spice up the food and imbue the meal with a delightful purple hue.
What exactly is the monster extract, and how does he get it? ...maybe it's better not to ask too many questions.

Ingredients
1 cup blueberries
1 red onion
1 small head of purple cabbage
1 head of purple cauliflower
1 beet
1 cup sliced purple carrots
1 cup diced purple potatoes
1 tsp curry powder
½ tsp of salt and pepper, more to taste
1 cup rice
Directions
Instructions
Many of these steps can be done concurrently to save time. Bring a small pot of water to a boil, with enough water to completely submerge the beet; add the beet and boil for 90 minutes. Remove the heat and let cool until safe to handle. Remove the skin and any stalk stubble. It should be soft, and easily peel in your hands.
Blend the softened beet with the blueberries and curry powder to create the Monster Extract. It should deep purple in color.
While the beet is boiling, prepare prepare the remaining vegetables. Scrub and coarsely dice the purple potatoes (they are thin-skinned, so no need to peel); dice the red onion; roughly chop the head of cabbage and head of cauliflower; and peel and trim the purple carrots, removing the leave ends and slicing into 1/4" pieces.
Boil the potatoes for 20 minutes until tender and easily pierced with a fork.
In a splash of olive oil, pan-fry the onions for five minutes, stirring often. To the same pan, add the carrots and cauliflower and cook for another five minutes, continuing to stir often. Lastly add the cabbage to the pan and cook for another five minutes, at which point all the vegetables should be soft and tender. If the pan dries out, then add a splash of water periodically as needed.
Once the vegetables are cooked through, stir them all together in a large pot, adding the purple curry paste and heat through, only for a few minutes.
Prepare the rice by rinsing it in cool water. Bring 1 3/4 cups of water to a boil and add the rinsed rice. Cover and reduce heat to low, cooking for 15 minutes before uncovering. Basmati is a soft and airy form of rice, so after uncovering, be sure to fluff it up using a fork.
Serve a heaping ladle full of monster curried vegetables alongside the fluffy rice while still hot. Yum!
This really should restore more than just 1/4 heart. Seriously.
Tips!
Make sure the vegetables are mostly cooked before adding the curry paste - if you cook too long, the paste will change from purple to brown, which is not very monstrous at all.
